ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Washingtoner -- Mark National Star Wars Day with a galaxy of runners and walkers of all ages – dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters – at the "May the Fourth Be With You" Run/Walk 10K and Kids 1-Miler in Alexandria, Va.

Intergalactic prizes for best costumes – plus pizza and trivia after-party at Atlas Brewing – make this a must-do event for fans of all ages.

Hosted by the Old Town Run Club, the celebration benefits the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, supporting catastrophically wounded veterans and first responders and Gold Star families.

  • Scenic Race Course – Enjoy a picturesque, wooded run through Cameron Run Regional Park, 4001 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22304.
  • Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome!
  • Post-Race Party – Celebrate at Atlas Brew Works, 2429 Mandeville Lane, Alexandria, VA 22332 with a drink and a slice of Andy's Pizza for registered runners/walkers – also available for purchase for spectators and friends.
  • Star Wars Trivia – Test your knowledge in a team trivia contest! Win a $100 Gift Card and prizes for second and third place.
