Major Crimes Investigating Double Homicide on Spokane's South Hill

~ On Wednesday evening, a shooting occurred in the 4200 block of east 34th in Spokane. According to Sgt. Teresa Fuller of the Public Information Office, the Spokane Police responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:45pm.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two adult males who had been fatally shot and a third male who was critically injured from gunshot wounds. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.

The preliminary investigation suggests that all individuals involved were acquainted with each other, but the exact nature of their relationship is still under investigation. It has been confirmed that no one else was injured in the incident.

The third male was immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The Major Crimes Unit is currently processing the scene for further evidence.

Sgt. Fuller also stated that there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the community at this time. However, anyone with information or video footage related to the shooting is urged to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
