Jacqui Condon Selected to Workers' Compensation Panels for Three Professional Athlete Associations

DENVER - Washingtoner -- Kaplan Morrell workers' compensation attorney Jacquline "Jacqui" D. Condon has been selected to serve as Workers' Compensation Panel Counsel for three professional athlete associations: the NFL Players Association (NFLPA), Professional Hockey Players' Association (PHPA), and National Lacrosse League Players' Association (NLLPA).

The appointments represent a significant professional honor for Condon and expand Kaplan Morrell's longstanding work representing professional athletes facing workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims.

Condon was approved for the PHPA and NLLPA Workers' Compensation panels this past weekend, followed by confirmation of her addition to the NFLPA Workers' Compensation Panel Counsel.

Her selections come as Condon takes an increasingly active role in workers' compensation issues affecting professional athletes. At the recent PHPA meeting, she presented on 2026 Colorado legislative efforts that sought to carve professional athletes out of certain rights and protections afforded to other injured workers under the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act.

The issue has been a major focus for Kaplan Morrell, which has worked with professional players' associations to oppose legislation that would treat athletes differently from other Colorado employees when accessing workers' compensation rights and medical care.

Condon brings extensive workers' compensation experience to her new panel roles. After graduating from Hofstra Law School in 2008, she practiced workers' compensation law and served as a public defender in New York. She moved to Colorado in 2014 and has continued to represent and advocate for injured workers throughout the state.
