STS Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Mark Herbick has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

NAPLES, Fla. - Washingtoner -- STS Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Mark Herbick has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective November 1, 2026, as Pursant, the firm he founded, joins forces with STS. A serial entrepreneur and seasoned dealmaker, Mark brings more than three decades of M&A experience and has advised on hundreds of transactions. As CEO, he will lead STS's next chapter of growth, helping more founders and family business owners maximize value and achieve an Extraordinary Exit™ through the firm's Selling to Strategics™ process.

Having sat on every side of the deal table, as a founder, operator, buyer, seller, and advisor, Mark understands firsthand what owners experience at the most pivotal moments of their business journey. Before founding Pursant in 2010, he founded, acquired, operated, and sold more than a dozen businesses. As CEO of Capital Building Services Group, he grew the company nationwide through acquisitions and organic growth to more than 1,500 employees, earning a place on the Inc. 500 list, before selling it in 2009. As Pursant joins forces with STS, members of its team will also join the firm, bringing additional experience, relationships, and capabilities to STS's growing global platform.

"This is a new chapter for STS. Mark knows M&A from every angle, and he shares our belief that the best outcomes start with preparation long before a deal. With Mark leading the firm, we'll continue to grow, bringing on more Managing Director partners, advisors, and team members to help founders and families achieve outcomes they may not have thought possible. We're delighted to welcome him," said Rob Follows, Founder and Chairman of STS Capital Partners.

Mark's experience extends well beyond the deal table. A Certified M&A Advisor through the AM&AA and a Harvard Business School alumnus, he has long been active in the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), serving as Central US Region Chairman and Chair of the YPO Deal Global Business Network. He also shares his expertise as a frequent speaker on middle-market M&A, exit strategy, and deal execution, delivering keynotes and sessions for organizations, associations, and universities including YPO, Columbia Business School, Northern Illinois University, and the University of Louisville.

"Throughout my career, I've seen that building enterprise value is a process that begins long before a transaction. STS's ability to bring international strategic buyers to the table, and its commitment to helping owners realize their business's full potential, is what drew me to the firm. I'm excited to lead this talented team and help even more owners achieve an Extraordinary Exit™," said Mark Herbick, Chief Executive Officer of STS Capital Partners.
