Since 2009, Death2Life has served as "A Refuge for the Hopeless and Suicidal," providing free, 24/7 resources and compassionate support for people struggling with suicide, depression, grief, anxiety and overwhelming hopelessness.

For more than 17 years, Death2Life has connected with people in some of the darkest moments of their lives, offering a caring presence, practical support and the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.

"Suicide Prevention Month is more than a campaign or a hashtag to us," said Mario D'Ortenzio, President and CEO of Death2Life. "These are real people. Real families. Real lives hanging in the balance. Sometimes a person doesn't need someone to fix everything. They just need someone willing to step into the darkness with them and remind them that their story is not over."

Through its online platform, text chat, trained peer-support interventionists and suicide-prevention resources, Death2Life connects with hurting people around the clock, without charging the individual seeking help.

The organization primarily serves teens and young adults but has supported people ranging from children to older adults and has reached individuals across the United States and around the world.

"Hopelessness tells people there is no way forward," D'Ortenzio said. "We want to interrupt that lie. There is another moment coming. There is another conversation coming. There is hope. And ultimately, we believe there is a Savior who sees them, loves them and has not abandoned them."
