FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. & PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti - Washingtoner -- Creole101, a multilingual language and cultural resource platform has launched the Creole101 App for Android, bringing more than 50,000 dictionary entries across five languages to mobile users. An iPhone and iPad version is coming soon.

Built around Haitian Creole, the app connects Haitian Creole, English, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese in one searchable dictionary. Users can search in the language they already speak and explore definitions, translations, examples, pronunciation and related vocabulary.

One Dictionary Across Five Languages

Vocabulary Games and Daily Learning

Creole101 combines dictionary lookup with interactive learning. The app includes Hangman, Quick Match, Crossword and Word Builder, allowing users to practice vocabulary while earning XP and maintaining daily streaks.

A Word of the Day feature supports smaller daily learning goals, while Favorites lets users save vocabulary for later review.

Language and Haitian Culture

Creole101's broader platform also includes more than 2,000 English proverbs, irregular English verb references and word-discovery tools for rhymes and creative writing.

A distinctive feature of Creole101 is the connection between dictionary entries and Haitian cultural resources. Depending on the word, users may discover related Haitian proverbs, quotations, riddles, expressions, poems and song lyrics.
