September 17 to 19, 2027, one Link ride from Sea-Tac. Twenty seats, with the venue announced to enrolled students once it is signed.

SEATTLE - Washingtoner -- Liquid Breathwork has never trained facilitators in the Pacific Northwest, and the Breathwork Certification in Seattle, Washington State, set for September 17 to 19, 2027, is its first. It is also the first anywhere in Washington.

If you've been taking Breathwork classes in Seattle and want to lead your own, this is the weekend. Capitol Hill, Ballard and Fremont are close in, the 2 Line now crosses the lake from Bellevue, and Bainbridge Island is a 35-minute ferry. You sleep in your own bed and train in your own city.

On the floor, Ryan McBurney and Shelby Von Oepen teach as a pair. You breathe, then you facilitate, then you get feedback, and you repeat that until the method feels like yours. It is surrender-based and trauma-informed, rooted in the sigh of relief, and nothing is forced. Shelby is a registered nurse of fourteen years, so screening is part of the work: contraindications, waivers and insurance are covered so you know who to screen out.

"Seattle is easy to get to from all over the Northwest," said McBurney, who co-founded Liquid Breathwork with Shelby. "Tacoma, Everett and Bellevue are a short drive, Olympia is about an hour, and Portland is a few hours down I-5 or on the Amtrak Cascades."

Then comes the business side: session rates, and how to fill your first class back in Fremont or Capitol Hill. Mentorship from Ryan and Shelby continues after the weekend, along with the private graduate community.

Coming from farther out? Sea-Tac is a hub for Alaska and Delta, and the Link 1 Line reaches Westlake downtown in 38 minutes. Alaska flies Spokane to Sea-Tac nonstop, and Amtrak Cascades runs up from Portland.

The schedule is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, snacks included, and the group stops at 20. The venue is still being settled. The opening five seats are $1,997, and every seat after is $2,497. Hold yours with a $250 deposit, and payment plans are available. Your deposit transfers to another training date. Refunds are handled case by case.
