~ On October 17, 2025, a second suspect has been arrested in connection with a homicide that occurred on October 10, 2025 in Tacoma. The Tacoma Police detectives have been conducting a thorough investigation and have developed probable cause to make the arrest.
The second suspect, an adult male, was taken into custody without incident and has been booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the first degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the first Degree. This comes after the arrest of another adult male suspect on October 10, 2025, who was also booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree.

The incident took place just after noon on October 10, when officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of South Orchard Street for reports of an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by Tacoma Fire Department personnel to revive him, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are continuing their investigation into this tragic incident as a homicide. Anyone with information is urged to contact Tacoma Police Department.
