EVERETT, Wash. - Washingtoner -- WSIPC, a public non-profit cooperative dedicated to providing technology solutions for K-12 schools, is pleased to announce the addition of two dynamic leaders to its executive team. April Mardock has joined as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and Dr. Corrie Wilder has been named the new Director of Communications, Outreach & Engagement.

"April's nationally recognized expertise in cybersecurity is matched by her commitment to empowering people, which is the heart of a strong security culture. April Mardock, WSIPC's new CISO, is a nationally recognized expert in K-12 cybersecurity, risk management, and information security governance. With over two decades of experience in cybersecurity and InfoTech, she brings a practical and pragmatic approach to IT security, most recently leading cybersecurity for Seattle Public Schools. In her new role, she will be responsible for the security of a system that serves over 750,000 users. April is featured in Tribe of Hackers Blue Team: Tribal Knowledge from the Best in Defensive Cybersecurity and has contributed to the development of several key K-12 cybersecurity tools.

Dr. Corrie Wilder is a strategic communications leader with over 20 years of experience in education and civic engagement. She joins WSIPC from Washington State University Everett, where she served as Executive Director of Marketing & Communications, co-leading campus strategic planning and launching multi-institutional partnership programs to expand student access. An expert in stakeholder engagement and culture building, she has a proven track record of aligning communications with institutional goals to drive collective impact. A dedicated community leader, Dr. Wilder serves on the board of the Imagine Children's Museum and chairs the Everett Chamber Women's Network.
