Tacoma: Homicide Investigation – 3400 Block South 19th Street

At approximately 8:10 P.M. on March 14, 2026, Tacoma Police officers responded to the 3400 block of south 19^th Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers located a victim with life threatening wounds. Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until Tacoma Fire Department personnel arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. On March 30, 2026, the adult female victim was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

An adult male was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Pierce County Jail for Homicide.

Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are actively investigating this incident as a homicide.
