~ Spokane, Wash. - The historic D.C. Corbin House, now known as the Corbin Art Center, is set to host an event showcasing the Age of Elegance Reimagined. From September 6th to the 20th (closed on Sunday, September 14th), visitors can experience the beautifully decorated mansion with fine home furnishings from local businesses and interior designers.
The event will take place at the Corbin Art Center located at 507 W. 7th Ave and will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can also join guided tours led by historians and have the opportunity to purchase furniture on display from The Tin Roof, Ennis Fine Furniture, and Burbank Interiors.

The D.C. Corbin House holds significant historical value as it was designed and built by renowned architect Kirtland K. Cutter for D.C. Corbin himself who made his fortune in railroad and mining businesses. After his passing, his widow Anna sold the home to the Parks department in the 1940s. The Corbin Art Center, a program of City of Spokane Parks & Recreation, has been located at the mansion for over 50 years and offers affordable and quality fine arts and crafts programs for children and adults.
For those interested in contributing to the preservation of the D.C. Corbin House, donations can be made at https://givebutter.com/CorbinArtCenter through the Spokane Parks Foundation.
