"This album is the perfect culmination of my journey—from recording gold records as a child for Rainbow Brite and Disney, to becoming a mother, and now returning with a renewed sense of purpose," says Bettina. "It bridges my love for music and storytelling with my desire to share the messages kids really need today. Being different should be celebrated—we don't all need to color inside the lines. That's the message I needed as a child, and it's what I want every kid, and every parent, to hear now."

Producer Automatic adds, "Working with Bettina again was a gift. She poured her heart and soul into this project, and it shows in every lyric and melody. Once Upon a Rainbow isn't just a children's album—it's music with a mission, created to inspire families for generations to come."

The project also features intimate contributions from her children, weaving her role as both artist and mother into the fabric of the album. The whimsical, storybook-inspired cover art further underscores the imaginative spirit at the heart of Once Upon a Rainbow. With this release, Bettina Bush not only reclaims her place in the cultural conversation but also delivers a timely and generationally resonant body of work.
