Collaborative ABA Services, LLC has launched the initial rollout of CollabWait, a cloud-based application designed to streamline how behavioral health agencies manage and collaborate on client waitlists. The platform also helps families track their status and find available services in their area with greater transparency.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - Washingtoner -- CollabWait was developed in response to the growing challenge of long wait times for services such as ABA therapy, speech therapy, counseling, and evaluations for autism. Many families spend months, sometimes more than a year awaiting care, often with limited updates on where they stand. At the same time, agencies struggle to keep their waitlists organized while balancing constant inquiries from families seeking information.

CollabWait offers a solution by bringing waitlist management into one easy-to-use system. Companies can securely maintain their lists, share updates with families, and collaborate with other providers to make referrals based on real-time availability. As more agencies register for the platform, collaboration expands, increasing referral opportunities between providers while improving visibility for families seeking services. Families benefit from increased visibility, allowing them to see the status of their requests and connect with multiple agencies participating in the system. Additional features are currently in development to further enhance collaboration between providers and improve the overall experience for both agencies and families.

The launch has started internally at Collaborative ABA Services, LLC, where the platform is first being used to manage the company's existing waitlist. From there, phase one will expand to onboarding behavioral health and developmental service providers, including ABA therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and social work and counseling practices. Agencies will soon be able to join the platform through a free 7-day trial, upload their waitlists, and become visible referral options for families actively searching for services. As CollabWait continues to evolve, ongoing system enhancements are being implemented as part of the rollout process. The last phase will conclude with welcoming families to use the platform and allowing them to request services directly from registered providers and better understand what care options are available in their area.
