~ On the evening of April 25, 2025, Spokane Police received a call from a concerned relative regarding John C. Palmer (32). The relative reported that Palmer was at the victim's location and making threats to kill her and destroy her property. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Palmer had new domestic violence charges against him, as well as a Department of Corrections warrant for Escape from Community Custody.
Officers initially had difficulty making contact with the victim to assess the situation. However, once they were able to make contact, they heard someone in the background who was not the victim. Eventually, Palmer revealed himself and informed officers that he had two people in the home and planned to harm them.
In response to this potentially dangerous situation, multiple police resources were brought in to try and resolve it peacefully. However, based on the information gathered by officers, they were forced to enter the home and safely secure the two victims.
