~ The City of Tacoma's Equity in Contracting (EIC) team is taking steps to address disparities for historically underutilized businesses owned by minority, women, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. As part of this effort, the team will be hosting an in-person class on business taxes for up to 25 registered participants.
The class, which will be held on May 12 from 1-4 p.m. at the Tacoma Municipal Building, aims to provide valuable information and resources to help these businesses succeed. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and co-owner of Higher Than Me Consulting firm, Tai Moultrie, will be speaking at the event and offering a cumulative total of up to 45 hours of CPA support to participants.
