~ Tacoma, Wash. - The Hylebos Bridge, located off East 11th Street in the Tacoma Tideflats, is set to undergo repairs starting on September 5. According to the City of Tacoma's Public Works Engineering Division, the bridge will remain closed to vehicular traffic during this time but will remain open for shipping vessels.
The project supervisor, Steve Carstens, can be reached at scarstens@cityoftacoma.org or (253) 591-5263 for any questions or concerns from community members. The anticipated completion date for the repairs is the week of September 16.
