Tacoma: Homicide Investigation – 3500 block of E Grandview Ave

At approximately 3:39 AM on January 1, 2026, Tacoma Police responded to an address in the 3500 block of E Grandview Ave for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began lifesaving measures until Tacoma Fire Department personnel arrived. A short time later, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by fire personnel.
