CinderLabs AIRA Governs NVIDIA's Open Agent Safety Platform, Turning Enforcement Into Evidence

PUYALLUP, Wash. - Washingtoner -- CinderLabs today announced governance support for NVIDIA's Open Agent Safety Platform, hours after NVIDIA released the platform and its open-source OpenShell runtime. AIRA, CinderLabs' AI governance and compliance platform, will ingest the audit events OpenShell produces and turn them into examiner-ready compliance evidence.

NVIDIA's platform enforces agent safety in hardware. OpenShell runs an agent in a sandbox, and Sentry, running on a BlueField-4 DPU, quarantines an agent that reaches past its boundary. That is the enforcement floor. It stops the breach. It does not answer the questions that follow one: who approved this agent, what was it allowed to touch, and where is the record.

That is the layer AIRA already governs.

Because OpenShell emits its audit trail as OCSF, the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework, AIRA can consume it natively. Every agent action, policy decision, and boundary violation OpenShell records becomes a governed event in AIRA: inventoried against the agent that produced it, scored for risk, and mapped to the control frameworks that regulated buyers answer to.
