~ On May 25, the Community Vitality and Safety Committee of the City of Tacoma will receive a briefing from City staff on proposed updates to the Rental Housing Code. The proposed updates were developed in partnership with members of the Rental Housing Code Stakeholder Advisory Group, which includes City staff, non-profit and affordable housing representatives, housing providers and tenant advocates.
The work to develop the proposed updates began in 2021. The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format and those who wish to follow remotely may do so on Zoom or by dialing (253) 215-8782 (Meeting ID: 859 6160 4917, Passcode: 614650). It will take place at 4:30 PM in the Tacoma Municipal Building Council Chambers (747 Market Street, 1st floor).
