~ In response to the recent executive orders and implementing memorandums from the federal government, the City Council of Tacoma has released a statement addressing concerns about immigration enforcement, federal grants and loans, and local infrastructure projects.
According to Maria Lee, the Media & Communications representative for the city, these new orders may cause confusion and fear for some residents.
