~ The Tacoma City Council is currently seeking applicants to fill a position on the Public Utility Board, according to a press release from the City of Tacoma. The board, which oversees the management and operation of Tacoma Public Utilities, is comprised of five members who are nominated by the Government Performance and Finance Committee and appointed by a majority vote of the City Council.
The position has a term of five years and is open to Tacoma residents. The City of Tacoma is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity within its committees, boards, and commissions.
