~ On the morning of June 28th, 2024, the Spokane Police Department received a call about a stabbing in the downtown area. According to reports, an altercation between two males had taken place on 200 South Division Street. One of the individuals involved sustained a cut on the side of his face during the fight.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers began searching for the suspect who had fled the area. The suspect was later found walking east of the location but was uncooperative with authorities. After being detained without incident, it was discovered that Elisha Z. Geiger (24) was responsible for using a piece of broken glass to slash the victim before leaving.

Geiger was subsequently arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail on charges of 2nd Degree Assault and Obstruction. The victim, whose injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. It has been reported that Geiger has a history of prior arrests for assault in the local area.
