Ofc. John O'Brien, PIO
Spokane Police Department would like assistance from the community to identify a burglar.
On February 27, 2021, around 8:00 a.m., a property owner caught an unknown male inside his apartment building in the 700 block of S. Bernard Street. The suspect had apparently used a small crow bar to enter the building and pry open a vending machine, stealing the money and product. The owner followed the suspect to another apartment building in the area of 600 S. Bernard Street. It appeared the suspect used a key to enter that location and it is not known if he is a tenant there.
Officers were not able to locate the suspect at any of the locations and would like the help of the community to identify him. If you have information that would assist Officer Childress in this investigation please call Crime Check at 509.456.2233 and reference incident #2021-20031424.
