Spokane Police Seeking Public Assistance in Locating Robbery Suspect

~ Spokane Police Department Seeks Community Assistance in Locating Robbery Suspect

The Spokane Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a robbery suspect involved in an incident that occurred on February 10th, 2025. According to Officer Daniel Strassenberg, the department's Public Information Officer, the incident took place just before 1pm at a business located in the 1700 block of West Francis Avenue.

Upon receiving a report of a robbery, SPD officers responded to the scene where they discovered that a store employee had been stabbed by a male suspect. The employee had confronted the individual on suspicion of theft before being attacked. The suspect then fled the store on foot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, who can be seen in photos released by the department (see below), is described as a white male believed to be in his late teens or early twenties. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and carrying a black backpack.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the robbery is urged to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233. The reference number for this case is 2025-20027769. Photos of the suspect can be found below for reference.
