~ As the city of Spokane prepares to celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day on Monday, October 13, there will be some changes to parking regulations. According to Erin Hut, the Communications Director for the city, on-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payments on this holiday. However, it is important to note that all other parking rules, including time limits, will still be enforced.

While City of Spokane offices will remain open as usual on Monday, there will be some adjustments to the garbage and recycling services. The curbside collection of garbage, recycling, and food and yard waste will continue as scheduled.
