~ Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown has ordered flags at all City facilities to be lowered to half-staff in honor of the victims of the tragedy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This decision comes after President Donald J. Trump's directive for all state and U.S. flags at state agency facilities to be lowered immediately.
According to Erin Hut, Communications Director for Spokane, the city expresses its deepest sympathies and condolences to those affected by the devastating tragedy. Mayor Brown stated, "We join the nation in mourning those who have lost their lives in this senseless act of violence."
