WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2025 ~ SCORE, a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), has announced that SCORE Greater Seattle has been named the 2025 Chapter of the Year (COTY). This prestigious award recognizes the outstanding work of SCORE Greater Seattle in helping entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses through free, expert mentoring and educational resources.

- Helped 12,434 small businesses – an increase of 82% from the previous year – which contributed greatly to the local economy and strengthened the community.

- Provided 6,580 mentoring sessions – an increase of 18% from the previous year.

- Increased webinar attendance by an impressive 372%.

- Expanded their volunteer base by 13%, allowing them to provide expert mentoring support to even more small businesses.

Suvendoo Ray, chapter chair of SCORE Greater Seattle, expressed his gratitude for all those who contributed to this success. "Congratulations to all our volunteers and clients who played a crucial role in this achievement," he said. "Our impact goes beyond Seattle, as we worked together with other chapters across the state, region, and country to improve our workshops, mentoring, communications, and outreach.
