Students, Families, and Instructors Came Together to Show What Oom Yung Doe Stands For

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Washingtoner -- This summer, Oom Yung Doe students, families and instructors have been out in the community, proudly representing the school in several major local parades. These events have given students a chance to demonstrate their skills, pass out flyers, and connect with the public in a powerful way.

We kicked off the season with the Kirkland 4th of July Parade, where students walked alongside instructors, demonstrated techniques, and passed out flyers to families lining the streets. It was a strong showing of community spirit and support.

Next came the Lake City Parade on August 2nd, with students showing up in full force to continue spreading awareness and engaging with the local crowd.

The summer wraps up with the Celebrate Woodinville Parade on August 9th, where our team will once again show what Oom Yung Doe represents through movement, presence, and unity.

These appearances aren't just about visibility. They're about standing for something, showing up with discipline and strength, and helping others see the value of training in martial arts.

To every student and family member who participated or supported, thank you for representing the schools and our mission with pride.
