Searchable online glossary translates statutes on DUI, battery, theft, drug possession, and casino markers into language non-lawyers can use
LAS VEGAS - Washingtoner -- Nevada's criminal statutes are public. Understanding them is another matter. Las Vegas attorney Thomas Boley has published the Nevada Criminal Law Glossary, a free online resource that explains 100 Nevada criminal laws in plain English, with a full Spanish version available through a single toggle. Offering the full guide in Spanish is central to the project. Spanish is widely spoken in Las Vegas homes, and legal terminology is difficult enough in a first language. Offering the guide in both languages lets family members read the same information together.
The glossary is free and available online at any hour. It is intended as a starting point. It does not replace advice from an attorney who knows the facts of a specific case.
To use the guide: Visit https://www.thomasboley.com/nv-criminal-laws and select EN or ES. To request a free consultation, call (702) 435-3333.
