Council Member Betsy Wilkerson is pleased to welcome the Spokane Chapter of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club Inc. (NABSTMC) to Spokane City Hall on Saturday, June 12th during their Ride for Justice. Other City of Spokane elected officials and Council staff members are invited to join the welcoming delegation.
"Last year, Mr. Bowe, President of the Spokane Buffalo Soldiers, informed me about their club, ongoing community involvement, and invited me to attend an event they were putting on," said City Council Member Betsy Wilkerson. "The event was great! I even brought my adult children and three grandchildren. The kids enjoyed themselves and I'm proud to welcome the club back to City Hall."
The Ride for Justice will begin at Spokane Community College, move through Downtown Spokane to Spokane City Hall between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm. The group will then ride to Curley's Hauser Junction in Post Falls, Idaho. Members of the public are invited to join and are asked to wear cloth facial masks and observe social distancing protocols if they are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

"We're One Club, One Patch, with One Mindset and it's our duty to do this ride to support the injustice not only to those that have lost lives at the hands of bad policing but to also support justice for those officers killed in the line of duty," said Nathan 'Motown' Mack, the National President of the National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club Inc.
As a community-based motorcycle club, the members of the NABSTMC consist of active, retired, and honorably discharged military veterans, active and retired law enforcement officers, first responders, attorneys, doctors, and other professional civilians. When not riding their "iron horses" they are in their communities across the nation feeding the hungry, providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors and spreading the rich history of the 9th & 10th Calvary Buffalo Soldiers.
