TORONTO - Washingtoner -- STS Capital Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Brown as Vice President, Business Development. In this role, Barry is responsible for expanding the firm's relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and trusted advisors while supporting the development of new opportunities across STS's global network. With more than 30 years of commercial leadership experience, he brings deep expertise in scaling high-growth organizations, building strategic partnerships, and helping businesses maximize long-term value.

Throughout his career, Barry has helped companies accelerate growth across SaaS, enterprise software, AI, education technology, media, and technology-enabled services. His experience spans executive leadership roles with venture-backed and private equity-backed businesses, as well as publicly traded organizations, where he has led business development, revenue operations, strategic partnerships, and go-to-market transformation initiatives.

Barry has built and scaled high-performing commercial organizations that consistently deliver measurable results. He has led global sales teams of more than 50 professionals, helped grow multiple businesses from startup through more than $100 million in annual recurring revenue, and implemented scalable sales and operational frameworks that improved customer acquisition, forecasting accuracy, and commercial performance. His leadership has also contributed to successful acquisitions and IPOs while driving sustained revenue growth across multiple organizations.

Known for developing strong commercial leaders and performance-driven cultures, Barry has recruited, coached, and mentored sales professionals across North America and international markets. By aligning sales, marketing, customer success, and operations around disciplined processes and shared objectives, he has helped organizations build repeatable growth engines capable of scaling efficiently. He has also led the implementation of AI-enabled sales workflows that improve productivity, strengthen decision-making, and allow commercial teams to focus on higher-value customer relationships.
