"It was so great to come out and meet these 2 beautiful ladies. The work they're doing Its honestly refreshing to know the new generation does have people who get it," said Davina Perez of Put The Guns Down.

Niccol Clarke better known in the music entertainment world as Dj Xotic Mami as well as founder of The community Hope Foundation had this to say, "Watching how these kids interacted with each other after over a year of seclusion and quarantining was amazing. This is what children need Interaction. To be able to go outside and play. Putting an event like this together and bringing the Bloods and Crips together, to sit together, to come up with plans to embrace Peace. Everybody needs a break. Inviting homeless people strolling in the park and inviting them to partake in the BBQ so they could eat. This event is what community is about. This is just our giveback."

The next Community Event will be our Annual School Supply giveaway. NYC is opening up and we want to send our students back ready and prepared. We are still in a dire economic crisis so The Community Hope Foundation wants to make sure the families in financial hardship children have the supplies they need.
