Latest MigrationWiz investments help IT teams move large volumes of files and folders faster and more predictably across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace workloads

AUSTIN, Texas - Washingtoner -- BitTitan, a global leader in migration automation, today announced major new investments in MigrationWiz that help managed service providers (MSPs) and enterprise IT teams move large document workloads faster and with greater predictability. With Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace migration projects often involving hundreds of gigabytes or even terabytes of files and folders, the latest MigrationWiz advances are delivering 3 to 5 times greater document migration throughput, helping teams shorten project timelines and keep even large, complex projects moving.

Key components of the document migration process have been reworked, including scheduling, indexing, and platform scalability. The updates enable previously sequential work to be processed more efficiently and in parallel, increasing throughput and helping large projects continue moving as data is processed across the environment.

The enhancements apply to MigrationWiz document migration scenarios across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments, including user document migrations involving OneDrive, Google Drive, Google Shared Drive, Microsoft Teams and supported SharePoint Online document workloads. MigrationWiz helps organizations move files, folders, permissions, and metadata while maintaining file hierarchy and access requirements throughout the transition, whether a project involves gigabytes of user data or terabytes of content across a complex environment.

"We've made significant investments in the underlying MigrationWiz platform to help customers move large document workloads faster and more predictably," said Aaron Wadsworth, Senior Director, Product and Strategic Partner Management at BitTitan. "When a migration involves hundreds of gigabytes or terabytes of files and folders, improvements in speed and throughput can have a meaningful impact on the overall project timeline. These advances give IT teams and service providers greater confidence when taking on even their largest and most complex migrations."

The latest MigrationWiz updates address several core areas of the migration process:
  • Improved scheduling: Enhancements to how migration jobs are scheduled and initiated help migrations start and progress more efficiently, particularly when teams manage multiple projects or workloads concurrently.
  • Faster indexing: Reworked indexing processes improve handling of large, complex document environments and reduce processing bottlenecks.
  • Greater scale and throughput: Platform improvements are delivering 3 to 5 times greater document migration throughput while enabling more efficient processing across concurrent, large-scale projects, helping teams complete document migrations within more predictable timeframes.
  • Consistent project execution: Engineering updates help reduce delays and failed items while limiting the manual intervention required during migration projects.
Together, these investments are designed to help customers move large volumes of document data faster, keep complex projects progressing, and reduce the time technical teams spend troubleshooting migration issues. For MSPs and enterprise IT teams moving hundreds of gigabytes or terabytes of content, that can translate into shorter project timelines and a smoother migration experience.

"Our customers and partners need a migration platform they can count on, especially for large and complex projects," said Ajay Khatri, General Manager at BitTitan. "We've listened closely to their feedback and invested across the MigrationWiz experience, from the underlying platform and new migration capabilities to the support customers receive when they need help. The document migration advances are another important step in that work, and customers can expect us to keep pushing forward."

The document migration advances are part of BitTitan's continued investment in MigrationWiz and the broader customer experience throughout 2026. Recent updates include the reengineered Microsoft Teams Private Chat migration, continued platform performance improvements, and expanded migration capabilities across data, identities, and user workstations.

BitTitan also recently introduced a new Graph API-based Mailbox project, giving customers a modern path for supported Exchange Online mailbox migrations as Microsoft transitions away from Exchange Web Services (EWS). MigrationWiz will support both Graph API and EWS mailbox migration options during the transition, allowing customers to use the approach that fits the workloads in their project.

Alongside its product investments, BitTitan has strengthened the customer experience around MigrationWiz. Customer Support has averaged 95% CSAT over the past 14 months and reached 98% in the most recent quarter. MigrationWiz customers receive technical support at no additional charge, with initial responses within 24 hours, seven days a week, plus additional Customer Success options for teams that want more hands-on planning and migration guidance.
