"To Sway a Flame" by Brianna R. Shaffery, Author BRS Writes, L.L.C.
EATONTOWN, N.J. - Washingtoner -- Local author Brianna R. Shaffery, best known for her young adult epic fantasy trilogy the Heirs of Tenebris, is set to celebrate the release of her fourth book, To Sway a Flame, on May 16. The title is book seven in the Tempting Thieves series, a multi-author collaboration of standalone romance-fantasy novels featuring cunning thieves and sizzling chemistry.

"I can't wait to share To Sway a Flame with readers," Shaffery says. "It's a little different from my trilogy because it has more of a focus on the romance between my characters, but it was such a fun story for me to dive into, from watching Adelaide and Gavin fall in love to playing with the fantasy elements I'm known for, I couldn't be more excited to share it!"  The award-winning author teases that while readers will experience a sweet and swoon-worthy romance between her main characters—a common thief, Adelaide, and the kingdom's fiercest protector, Archduke Gavin "White Hawk" Hughes—readers will also be plunged into a world steeped in magic and myth. With a solar eclipse on the horizon and tasked with safeguarding a precious stone known to amplify magical powers, Gavin continues to hunt the Master of Thieves and bring her to justice just as Adelaide is sent to steal the stone from his estate in order to save her family. Thrust into each other's lives, Shaffery explains, "It's a reluctant allies-to-lovers slow burn romance with lots of tender moments as they break down each other's barriers and fight to save the Eye of Behelwer [the mystical stone] from falling in to the Master of Thieves's hands."

To Sway a Flame is the seventh title set to release in the Tempting Thieves series, a multi-author collaboration hosted by Angela J. Ford and Stephanie BwaBwa. The eleven-book series can be read in any order as each book is a standalone romantasy (romance-fantasy) novel with each story featuring a sizzling, low-spice romance. Choose from enemies-to-lovers, slow burn romance, grumpy/sunshine dynamics, and more as each book brings readers into an irresistible escape full of magic and romance. More details about the series and each of the eleven books can be found at TemptingThieves.com, including purchasing details. "I had a blast collaborating with the other authors and hearing the behind-the-scenes details of their novels. It was a truly incredible experience as an author, and I can't thank Angela and Stephanie enough for hosting this collaboration," Shaffery says. "I can't wait for readers to get their hands on these gorgeous books and get swept away in the fantasy of these worlds and forbidden romances."
