Altercation on Spokane's South Hill Currently Being investigated by the Major Crimes Unit

~ Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit Investigating Fatal Altercation

The Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit is currently investigating a fatal altercation that occurred in the 3300 block of East 11th Street. According to Sgt. Teresa Fuller of the Public Information Office, the incident resulted in the death of two individuals and is still an active crime scene.

At approximately 5:15pm, Spokane Police received multiple 911 calls reporting an altercation involving a knife and a firearm between at least two people. Patrol officers arrived on the scene within minutes and immediately began securing the area and providing medical assistance to those involved.

Despite their efforts, two individuals succumbed to their injuries. The names of the deceased and manner of death will be released by the Spokane County Medical Examiner's Office.

The investigation is ongoing and a third individual is currently cooperating with authorities. It is believed that all parties involved have been accounted for, but the reason for the altercation and their relationship is still being determined by investigators.

No other injuries were reported during this incident. However, authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the altercation or has surveillance footage to come forward and contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233, referencing case number #2025-20094399.

As more information becomes available, updates will be provided by Sgt. Fuller and the Spokane Police Department.
