~ At 2:30am on June 4th, 2025, the Spokane Police Department (SPD) received a call from a local hospital regarding an adult male who had been brought in with life-threatening injuries. The man had been transported by American Medical Response (AMR) after being flagged down near Clark Park at 3900 N. Normandie.
Upon arriving at the park, officers discovered a crime scene and collected evidence, including DNA and other forensic evidence, from the victim. The SPD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is currently investigating the case but has not yet located the other individuals involved in the assault.

In light of this incident, SPD is reaching out to members of the community for any information or surveillance footage that may aid in their investigation. They can contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 with any relevant information.
The case number for this incident is 2025-20110574. Officer Daniel Strassenberg of the Public Information Office released this statement to the press.
