Criminal Activity Leads to Emphasis Patrols in Northwest Spokane

~ Spokane, WA - The Spokane Police Department is increasing patrols in the area of 1300 W Courtland following two recent shootings. According to Sgt. Teresa Fuller of the Traffic Unit and Public Information Officer, no victims or suspects have been located at this time.

The first shooting occurred earlier this year and was believed to be a drive-by shooting. Evidence was found at the scene, but police have not yet determined a motive or intended target. The second shooting also appeared to be a drive-by, with evidence found but no leads on suspects or victims.

In response to these dangerous incidents, patrol officers will be closely monitoring the area with extra patrols. Additionally, Spokane Police have deployed surveillance equipment in the area to monitor activity 24/7.

Authorities are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage related to these shootings to come forward and contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233 referencing incident #2025-20108422. Those who have not yet been contacted by police are especially encouraged to reach out.
