~ The City of Spokane is hosting a Supported Employment Job Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at The Hive, 2904 E Sprague Avenue, to connect job seekers with intellectual and developmental disabilities with local employers.
Job seekers can register now through the Job Seeker Registration form and bring hard copies of their Proof of Eligibility Letter and Certification of Job Readiness form to the event. Employers interested in participating can fill out the Employer Registration form and contact Charly Walters with any questions they may have.

The Supported Employment Program was launched in 2019 to create job opportunities for eligible individuals with disabilities. Participating businesses include Spokane Parks and Recreation Department, Numerica Credit Union, Davenport Hotels, STCU and Sherwin-Williams.
Kelsey Pearson, Chief Examiner for the City of Spokane said: "We are excited to host this job fair and provide an opportunity for job seekers with disabilities to connect with local employers".
