~ Spokane City Council will be holding a special legislative session on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Council Chambers located at 808 W Spokane Falls Blvd. The meeting will begin with the Urban Experience Committee at 11:45 a.m., followed by the Special Legislative Session at 1 p.m. The purpose of the Legislative Session is to address several legislative items and allow for public testimony.
Lisa Gardner, City Council Communications Director, stated that each speaker will have a three-minute limit when addressing Legislative Agenda items. Members of the public can sign up to testify either online or in person between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. outside the Council Chambers on the day of the meeting.

The meeting is open to the public and individuals are encouraged to attend in person or tune in through various platforms such as the City Cable 5 webpage, Spokane City Council Facebook page, or by calling 1.408.418.9388 with access code 2496 991 7004 (password: 0320 if needed).
