~ In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, Spokane City Hall and other City facilities will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24.

Solid Waste Services will be a day late the week of Thanksgiving for residents whose garbage is normally picked up on Thursday and Friday. Because of the holiday, crews will do Thursday rounds on Friday, Nov. 24, and Friday rounds on Saturday, Nov. 25. Residents who miss garbage day can report their missed solid waste collection online. The following week will be the last week of Clean Green yard and food waste pickup.

On-street parking meters and kiosks will not require payment on Thanksgiving Day; however, all parking rules still apply even when parking is free on holidays. All Spokane Public Library locations will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov 22, and be closed on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 23 and 24. The Spokane Municipal Court and Community Justice Services will also be closed on these days as well as My Spokane 311 employees who won't be available for in person, phone or online customer service inquiries these days but can access the 311 online app 24 hours a day with messages responded to the next business day. Development Services Center employees won't be available either while the Waste-to-Energy Facility recycling and disposal site will be closed on Thursday but open during regular operating hours for the rest of the week.
