SPOKANE, Wash., Sept. 12, 2024 ~ Spiceology, a leading spice company, has once again made its mark on the Inc. 5000 list for the sixth consecutive year. This prestigious index recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in America and Spiceology has proven to be a consistent player in this arena.

Since its first recognition on the Inc. 5000 list in 2018, Spiceology has achieved an impressive compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 46 percent. This growth can be attributed to the company's continued efforts to expand its market penetration and omnichannel presence across foodservice, retail, and direct-to-consumer platforms. As a result, Spiceology is now competing with some of the biggest names in the food and beverage industry.

Darby McLean, CEO of Spiceology, credits the company's success to its dedicated team and growing customer base. "This is our sixth year on the Inc. 5000 list, and thanks to our team's dedication and ever-growing customer base, we continue to scale the brand," said McLean.

In addition to expanding its distribution footprint in foodservice and gaining key placements with national retailers in retail, Spiceology has also focused on innovation. The company recently declared 2024 as the Year of the Spice Blend after conducting a first-of-its-kind national consumer survey and releasing a new Trend Report.

According to their findings, blends account for 10 of Spiceology's top 20 spice products sold to professional chefs. Additionally, 66 percent of U.S. home cooks regularly use spice blends when cooking.

Spiceology stands out from other spice companies with its unique Periodic Table of Flavor™ featuring over 300 fresh ingredients that are ground and shipped directly to customers. The chef-founded company is best known for its innovative Signature Blends such as Greek Freak, Smoky Honey Habanero, Black & Bleu, and their newest addition Tomatador blend - a Spanish-inspired Mediterranean seasoning.

Mike Hofman, editor-in-chief of Inc., congratulated Spiceology and other honorees for their impressive growth despite the challenges faced in the past year. "Congratulations to this year's honorees, as well, for growing their businesses fast despite the economic disruption we all faced over the past three years, from supply chain woes to inflation to changes in the workforce," said Hofman.
