The integrated Device Management Solution from Axiros orchestrates a unified device and service management and enables Metrotel to guarantee their end customers a first-class Quality of Experience (QoE). Using the Axiros' Device Management portfolio, Metrotel can now implement its vision of fully automated device and service lifecycle management.

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina - Washingtoner -- Axiros has successfully implemented its Unified Device Management portfolio at Metrotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Metrotel can now process numerous use cases like zero-touch provisioning or firmware management centrally and automatically for their FTTH network. This includes the intelligent and secure control of the devices involved in a service creation and monitoring of service parameters. The solution is based on AXESS - the Axiros Device Management platform. AXESS is fully integrated in Metrotel's Operations Support System (OSS) and supports various edge devices (Huawei for example).

Thanks to Axiros' proven track record in telco OSS integrations and their holistic Device Management solution portfolio, service providers such as Metrotel can significantly reduce time-to-market for new service offerings and fully control existing edge devices from a central location.

Mauricio Fernandez, Head of Axiros LATAM, said: "We are honored to support Metrotel in delivering this important solution. Axiros Device Management is a proven solution for the efficient management of a telecommunications infrastructure in near real time. Our integrated monitoring and analysis open up new ways and opportunities to sustainably improve service quality.  We will give our very best to Metrotel to enable them to offer internet services even more effectively and faster tomorrow."

About Metrotel
It has been providing telecommunications services to leading companies in Argentina for 30 years, developing products and services for different business segments, seeking customer satisfaction, continuous growth, and technological innovation.

It owns a fiber-optic network of more than 4,500 km, with a reliable infrastructure, which allows it to offer dependable and high-availability services.  Metrotel is currently introducing a model that allows the development of telecommunications called "Infrastructure as a Service" (IaaS), which allows more than one provider to offer internet services to end-users over the same FTTh fiber-optic network, allowing a better use of public space, optimizing costs, and enabling the access to state-of-the-art technological resources.
