Jayson Warner Smith (The Walking Dead, Rectify, Outer Banks, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist) joins the cast of three shows in 2025. Tulsa King (Paramount+), Murdaugh Murders (Hulu) and The Good Daughter (Peacock).

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. & ATLANTA - Washingtoner -- Jayson Warner Smith (The Walking Dead, Rectify, Outer Banks, Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist) has been cast in recurring guest star roles on three different projects. Tulsa King (Paramount+), Murdaugh Murders (Hulu) and The Good Daughter (Peacock).

Murdaugh Murders - The as-yet untitled project is based on Maggie and Alex Murdaugh's stranger-than-fiction family drama, a riveting account drawing from countless hours of reporting by Mandy Matney – journalist and creator of the popular Murdaugh Murders Podcast – as well as exclusive insider knowledge from years spent following the case.

Jayson plays Bruce Dinwiddie representing the real-life banker and Alex Murdaugh's best friend Richard Lafitte. Jayson will recur in this pivotal role in the Murdaugh family drama.

He joins the previously announced cast: Jason Clarke as Alex Murdaugh, Patricia Arquette as Maggie Murdaugh, J. Smith-Cameron as Marian Proctor, Johnny Berchtold as Paul Murdaugh, Brittany Snow as Mandy Matney and Will Harrison as Buster Murdaugh.

The series hails from co-creator and showrunner Michael D. Fuller and co-creator Erin Lee Carr. Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund EP for Eat the Cat along with Mandy Matney. UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

Smith is best known for his role as Gavin on AMC's The Walking Dead and Atlanta Police Chief Jenkins on Peacock's Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist.

He recently executive produced and starred in the highly acclaimed award-winning short Chipper which completed a very successful festival run in 2023-24.

Smith is repped by The Alexander White Agency in Los Angeles, New York and Atlanta.

The Good Daughter Jayson Warner Smith will recur as a guest star in the role of Pikeville Sheriff Keith Coin in this suspenseful crime drama where sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn have spent the last twenty-eight years trying to piece together the lives that were fractured by a single night of violence. When another attack splinters the small town of Pikeville, Charlotte is the first witness on the scene.

Cast also includes regulars Rose Byrne, Meghan Fahy, Brendan Gleeson, Olivia Williams, Michael Dorman, Audrey Grace Marshall and Drew Cheek with Paula Malcomson and Jake McDorman, who also recur.

Karin Slaughter (Pieces of Her, Will Trent) serves as writer and executive producer. Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky and Casey Haver executive produce for Made Up Stories (The Undoing, Pieces of Her, Wolf Like Me), along with Rose Byrne. Steph Green (Watchmen, The Americans) directs and executive produces all episodes. The Good Daughter is produced by Made Up Stories in partnership with global film and TV studio Fifth Season, which is also distributing internationally.

Tulsa King (season 3) – Jayson Warner Smith joins the season 3 cast as Walden Eustice an Oklahoma City liquor distributor who gets caught between Sylvester Stallone's Manfredi and Robert Patrick's Dunmire; two men fighting over the same turf in the liquor distribution business.

Taylor Sheridan's Paramount+ series Tulsa King Season 3. Production is currently underway on the Sylvester Stallone-led drama in Atlanta and Oklahoma.

Tulsa King follows New York mafia capo Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Stallone), just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a "crew" from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet.
