SEATTLE, July 24, 2025 ~ Seattle-based agency DNA&STONE has been recognized by Ad Age as the Silver winner in the Regional Northwest category at the Small Agency Awards. The prestigious award contest celebrates independent agencies with up to 150 employees that have demonstrated exceptional creativity and business success.

Judann Pollack, Executive Editor of Ad Age, praised the agency's work and talent, stating that their growth strategies, expansion of capabilities, and new-business acumen prove their ability to thrive in a constantly evolving industry.

The winners were selected by Ad Age's editorial team based on various criteria such as business momentum, creative prowess, effectiveness of their work, and future growth strategies. DNA&STONE stood out among its competitors for its unique approach to advertising.

The agency was founded earlier this year after the merger of two renowned Seattle-based agencies, DNA and Little Hands of Stone. Their belief that their differences make them stronger has led them to become a full-service agency that fearlessly delves into the real emotions behind brands to create authentic and trustworthy campaigns. This approach has attracted clients such as BECU, Municipal Credit Union, Purina, Freshworks, and Providence Health in just a few short months.

Co-Founder Chris Witherspoon expressed his gratitude for the recognition from the industry. He stated that after merging earlier this year, it means a lot to see not only their work but also their unique approach being acknowledged. Witherspoon emphasized their belief in radical empathy and understanding people and clients better than anyone else as their driving force.

DNA&STONE's recent campaigns have left a lasting impression on audiences. Their "Aging is Life" campaign for Aegis Living, "Frends All Over" campaign for Rover, and "SCARY NOT SCARY QUESTION" suicide prevention effort for Seattle Children's Hospital have all garnered attention for their captivating storytelling and impressive results. These campaigns have led to increased web traffic, greater awareness for brands, and higher revenue.

In addition to their exceptional work, DNA&STONE remains committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts. The agency is a founding member and currently serves on the board of BLAC, a 12-week paid internship program for Black talent. They also lead Project Violet, the ad industry's first and only mentorship program for LGBTQ+ talent.
