~ Early Sunday morning, two adult teens were injured, one critically, in a drive-by shooting on Spokane's south hill. According to Sgt. Teresa Fuller, Public Information Officer (PIO), the incident occurred around 3:00am on July 27, 2025 in the area of 5600 S Hatch. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital by private vehicles for treatment.
Upon receiving the call, Spokane Police Officers rushed to the scene and were joined by the Spokane Police Major Crimes Unit (MCU) to assist with the investigation. As of now, the investigation is still ongoing and police are urging anyone with information or surveillance footage to come forward and contact Crime Check at 509.456.2233.

Sgt. Fuller also emphasized that if anyone has not yet been contacted by police, they should still reach out with any relevant information that could aid in the investigation. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time and it is unclear if there are any suspects in custody. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
