New Genesis for a Sleeper Track: Embracing Damian Redd's Fantasy and Ambition

ST. LOUIS - Washingtoner -- Independent artist Damian Redd celebrates a significant milestone as his 2018 single, "Caught in a Fantasy," (music by platinum and Grammy nominated producer Ronald "Yonni" Ferebee Jr.) has officially surpassed 100,000 views on VEVO/YouTube. This surge is attributed to the recent reissue of his conceptual album, "Birth By Sleep: Genesis of Damian Redd," released through Redd's record label, KangaRedd Music—a division of Redd's World Entertainment.

Prior to the soft launch of the remarketing campaign and album reissue, "Caught in a Fantasy" had stagnated at just 6,900 views. The revitalized campaign has driven a remarkable increase of attention, with a substantial portion of views originating from Brazil, particularly in regions such as Bahia and São Paulo, along with notable contributions from USA, Canada, and France. KangaRedd Music has also sent the single to college radios to further the growth.

In addition to "Caught in a Fantasy," Redd's other official single, "Ambition," (music by S. Jones) is also experiencing a positive increase in views, thanks to the implementation of phase two in his "Road to Gold" campaign. Both music videos were directed by Chicago's Rhys Ladhani. This initiative aims to propel both of his official singles toward Gold Certification status in Brazil and Canada. Damian Redd is optimistic that the album will continue to gain traction in welcoming markets, further enhancing his international presence.

As Redd continues to engage with his growing fanbase, he is busy in the studio working on new music and is eyeing a late summer/early fall release for his next album, promising to deliver fresh sounds and more captivating artistry as the majority of the music is produced by himself.
