Discovery Park Welcomes New Hilton Hotel to Mixed Use Development

COLUMBIA, Mo. - Washingtoner -- InterMountain Management is pleased to announce the opening of Tru by Hilton Columbia South owned by Discovery Capital LLC. This property represents InterMountain's first Tru by Hilton hotel under management and marks an important milestone for the company. The opening also advances the vision of Discovery Park, a mixed-use development designed to reflect how people truly live, work, and play. Conveniently located just five minutes from everything yet miles beyond the ordinary, Discovery Park welcomes Tru by Hilton as its newest addition—an ideal brand fit that delivers a consistent, vibrant guest experience at an affordable price.

Conveniently situated just off Highway 63 and Discovery Parkway, the new hotel is approximately 10 minutes from the University of Missouri and Downtown Columbia. The team is excited to introduce this distinctive 131-room hotel to the South Columbia area. Tru by Hilton Columbia South offers thoughtfully designed guest rooms that are minimal yet highly functional, featuring ample storage, multiple device-charging options, a mobile desk, and bright, spacious bathrooms with everything within easy reach.

The vibrant lobby serves as a welcoming social hub, offering cozy and colorful workspaces with comfortable seating for both relaxation and productivity. Guests can also enjoy a variety of fun, interactive games, including foosball, pool, and a selection of board games—perfect for connecting with friends or fellow travelers.

Guests are invited to start each day with a complimentary hot breakfast, including Tru's signature pancake bar with a wide selection of toppings. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour fitness center, and complimentary parking. The hotel is also pet-friendly, welcoming both dogs and cats (fees apply).

Columbia native General Manager Kristina Bowlin leads the team with a wealth of local and hospitality knowledge emphasizing the Tru by Hilton Core Principles of being Simplified, Spirited and Grounded in Value. "We're excited to welcome guests with thoughtful design, warm hospitality, and a genuine connection to the local culture. This opening represents our commitment to creating memorable stays while supporting local partners and jobs," said Bowlin.
