~ Talkiatry, a leading provider of high-quality psychiatry and therapy services, has recently announced the addition of two new Chief Psychiatrists to their clinical leadership team. Dr. Nicholas Tamoria, MD and Dr. Kira Posteraro, DO have been appointed to these roles as part of Talkiatry's ongoing commitment to supporting clinicians and providing exceptional patient care.

Dr. Tamoria, a California native and former active-duty Navy psychiatrist, will be based in Seattle and will oversee Talkiatry's clinicians on the West Coast. With extensive experience leading behavioral health teams and advising healthcare leaders nationwide, Dr. Tamoria brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his new role. He most recently served as Medical Director for one of Washington State's most successful behavioral health programs.

Meanwhile, Dr. Posteraro will serve as Chief Psychiatrist mentoring clinicians within the Great Lakes region from her base in Pittsburgh. As a double board-certified psychiatrist in Adult and Addiction Psychiatry, she is known for her compassionate approach and ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships with patients and colleagues. Prior to joining Talkiatry, Dr. Posteraro served as Chief of Psychiatry for VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System.

The appointment of these two highly qualified psychiatrists reflects Talkiatry's commitment to providing personalized, evidence-based care through their Chief Psychiatrist model. This model is built on peer leadership and tailored support, with each Chief overseeing a cohort of clinicians to ensure hands-on mentorship and expert guidance for all psychiatrists at Talkiatry.

As the company continues to expand its reach across the country, more Chief Psychiatrists will be onboarded to maintain the same level of support and clinical oversight. This model fosters collaboration among clinicians and reinforces Talkiatry's dedication to both patients and providers.

Dr. Georgia Gaveras, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Talkiatry, expressed her excitement about the new appointments: "Our Chief Psychiatrists are essential to our clinical culture, empowering and supporting our team so they can provide high-quality treatment to our patients. As exceptional psychiatrists and leaders, Dr. Tamoria and Dr. Posteraro bring rich backgrounds and heart to their work. I am thrilled to welcome them into these crucial roles at Talkiatry."

With a growing team of over 600 full-time, licensed psychiatrists and 200 therapists practicing virtual care nationwide, Talkiatry remains focused on building a nationally scalable and clinically rigorous system that prioritizes the experience of both patients and providers.
