Upcoming Road Closures on McMurray Road Northeast

The City of Tacoma's Street Operations Division will perform maintenance on McMurray Road Northeast between Browns Point Boulevard and Marine View Drive. The road will be closed on Saturday, June 12, from 9 AM to 6 PM, with traffic detours in place.

This maintenance is being done in preparation for a chip-seal project that will start at 9 AM on Saturday, June 26, and run through 5 PM. on Sunday, June 27. During this time frame, McMurray Road Northeast between Browns Point Boulevard and Marine View Drive will be closed to all traffic with detours in place.

All repairs are weather-dependent, and rescheduling may be required. Notice boards will be on location to notify drivers of the project and will also reflect any necessary changes.
