~ Spokane City Council is set to host a special event, Community Days, to honor and celebrate the heroes of our country and those who support them. The event, organized by Council Member Kitty Klitzke and Council Member Shelby Lambdin, aims to recognize the bravery and sacrifices of the men and women who have served in the military.
According to Lisa Gardner, Communications Director for City Council, this event is a way to show gratitude towards our veterans beyond just one day. "While Veterans Day is a time for appreciation, let's support our veterans every day of the year," said Klitzke. She encourages everyone to volunteer, advocate, and lend a hand to ensure that veterans are never alone.
